Integrated Circuits Used

Description

Used IC 7404 for NOT gate. IC 74151 for MULTIPLEXER. Turn on 'D' to 0 and 1,ie, turn on and off in the input section in pin 12. And then using binary code such as 010, 100 (etc), adjust pin 3,4,5 in input section and check pin 6 in output section if it is glowing or not. At 010, D=0, ouput should be off.

Procedure

  1. Connect VCC Port to Pin-20 (VCC) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  2. Connect VCC Port to Pin-20 (VCC) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  3. Connect GND Port to Pin-7 (Ground) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  4. Connect GND Port to Pin-7 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  5. Connect GND Port to Pin-8 (Ground) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  6. Connect GND Port to Pin-4 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  7. Connect GND Port to Pin-4 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  8. Connect GND Port to Pin-16 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  9. Connect GND Port to Pin-17 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  10. Connect Input-12 to Pin-1 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  11. Connect Pin-1 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151) to Pin-2 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  12. Connect Pin-2 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151) to Pin-2 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  13. Connect VCC Port to Pin-3 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  14. Connect Input-12 to Pin-19 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  15. Connect Input-12 to Pin-18 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  16. Connect Input-5 to Pin-13 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  17. Connect Input-4 to Pin-14 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  18. Connect Input-3 to Pin-15 (Input) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  19. Connect Output-6 to Pin-5 (Output) of ICBase-2 (74LS151).
  20. Add IC 74LS04 into ICBase-1 (74LS04).
  21. Add IC 74LS151 into ICBase-2 (74LS151).
