AUTOMATICALLY COUNTS - DOWN COUNTER R1 = R2 =0 => OUTPUT STARTS FROM 0000 S1 = S2 = 0 => INITIALLY STARTS WITH 1001 AND ON NEXT CLOCK IT CHANGES TO 0000 WE CAN CREATE MOD N COUNTER Imp note : connect Qa to input pin 1 / b input (forgot in lab internals)

Procedure

  1. Connect Manual clock Port to Pin-20 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  2. Connect Output-12 to Pin-18 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  3. Connect Output-15 to Pin-17 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  4. Connect GND Port to Pin-16 (Ground) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  5. Connect VCC Port to Pin-5 (VCC) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  6. Connect Pin-2 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90) to GND Port.
  7. Connect GND Port to Pin-3 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  8. Connect Output-13 to Pin-15 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  9. Connect Output-14 to Pin-14 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  10. Connect Pin-1 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90) to Pin-18 (Output) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  11. Connect Input-4 to Pin-7 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
  12. Connect Input-5 to Pin-6 (Input) of ICBase-1 (74LS90).
