Description

3 - bit Full Adder using 3 NAND gates. For input section, pin no. 10 - A pin no. 8 - B pin no. 6 - Z For output section, pin no. 7 - sum pin no. 5 - carry When only one i/p is 1 then sum = 1 , carry = 0. When any two i/p are 1 then sum = 0, carry = 1. When all three i/p are 1 then sum = 1, carry = 1.

Procedure

  1. Add IC 74LS00 into ICBase-1 (74LS00).
  2. Add IC 74LS00 into ICBase-3 (74LS00).
  3. Add IC 74LS00 into ICBase-5 (74LS00).
  4. Connect VCC Port to Pin-20 (VCC) of ICBase-3 (74LS00).
  5. Connect Pin-20 (VCC) of ICBase-1 (74LS00) to VCC Port.
  6. Connect Pin-20 (VCC) of ICBase-5 (74LS00) to VCC Port.
  7. Connect GND Port to Pin-7 (Ground) of ICBase-3 (74LS00).
  8. Connect Pin-7 (Ground) of ICBase-1 (74LS00) to GND Port.
  9. Connect GND Port to Pin-7 (Ground) of ICBase-5 (74LS00).
